hi, does anyone know or have experience of loading Windows onto a macbook pro.
I have searched google and its a bit confusing.

I want to know what I need to buy, and how much it should cost. I dont have a copy of windows so will need to buy that too.

I want the windows to work at same time as the mac - i think its called parallels or something like that.

hope someone can advise
thanks

I have parallels but when I updated OS it wouldn't work so now I use VirtualBox and its free!

You obviously need a copy of Windows to load onto your mac but VirtualBox is easy to use and you can have the mac os and windows running at the same time.

the best way is to run bootcamp, its been pretty standard for a while.

support.apple.com/kb/HT5628

google apple bootcamp for more results.

You can't run both windows and mac though using bootcamp, you have to reboot from one to the other, I have used VirtualBox, Parallells and bootcamp and VirtualBox is the easiest to use
