scenario. I have a document in pages that i have created and called ABC. I changed something in the document and then want to save it as XYZ so that ABC stays as it was and I now have the two document. How do I do that please? I must just be being daft I know but when you've used Word for as long as I have and you are as old as I am, it's not easy Smile

Instead of clicking save, choose "save as" and give it a new name. Your old version will still be saved with the old name (provided you saved it before you started making changes)

Jeepers - I can see why you're confused based on reading this support thread on apple.com!

It looks from this that:

the way to (now) do a Save as? is to selct Duplicate from the File menu in Pages, which creates a copy of the open document in Pages.

Then select Save? or Command-S, and it will present you with a Dialog Box (actually two) and allow you to do a 'Save as?' operation.
