is the Note just silly? what's the most recent one? am an android fan, have loved the HTC desire for last two years.

I just got a note 2 last week and it's awesome. But if you have smaller hands then an S3 might be more usable.

i think what i was asking, tbf, was 'i want a note, are they bloody ridiculous?' but appreciate in my haste i perhaps didn't express tht correctly. they do look ridiculous but i've seen a number of people express shock and awe about theirs...

I hope it's the Note 2 but its not unknown for them to sell old stock to buyers who aren't fully informed about the latest models.

I suggest you check their website and see if the price for the 2 is what you paid.

Either way, you normally have 14 days to send it back.

Indeed, you should be able to return it, unopened, if they have the Note 2 on their website, but compare the costs too, before you insist on a Note 2 (in case the cost rockets and you really don't feel happy paying at that level each month for XX months)

Nah, but it is pretty awkward to know if you have the most up to date info (sometimes feel its my word against theirs when I feel sure an item has been released and they say no... I end up saying I will just have to "get it elsewhere then" which can lead to a mini panic as someone sees a potential sale {perhaps of some rival product} about to disappear through the door!)

I'm a bit . I've got an old iPhone, with a cracked screen and still nearly 2 years until contract ends, stupid 36 month contract. Have fun with your lovely, new shiny phone. Is it the big one? That looks like a cross between a phone and a tablet? In my sheltered world I'd never seen one (if that's what you've got?) before yesterday. A woman at school had one and I thought it was a tablet, then it rang. I was all agog at the modern world. Have fun
