Good fruit trees online?

Apologies, I know this has been done before as I remember reading a thread on it. But despite searching I can't find one specifically about fruit trees, just general online plants.

It was my 4 year wedding anniversary yesterday and I noticed the traditional gifts are fruit or flowers so I thought a fruit tree would be good. Would it be ok planting one at this time of year?

Many thanks.

This is the perfect time of year to order bare root fruit trees. I use Keepers Nursery. They will deliver once the trees are dormant (from November ish).

I was also going to suggest Keepers. They have a good range and they're really helpful if you're not 100% sure what you want. I got an apple tree from them around about December time of year.

I'd also recommend the Agroforestry Research Trust. All the fruit trees I've had from them have established really well.
