Hi all

Looking for some advice really about what to say to SW.

Initially an agency CW said they would need to use someone with baby experience as mum has no idea how to care for LO.

This doesnt seem to have happened and we have a nice young one but I have some concerns over things like, going to collect and LO has 2 blankets folded into quarters on her in car seat on hot day making 8 layers. They were covering her mouth. Another day in a hot room with a big blanket wrapped round her about 8 times again covering her mouth. The CW must not be telling her this is way too much. Also I have had to stop them taking LO out on a very cold morning with no coat on.

As this is out first placement I don't want to come accross as "no-one can look after LO as well as me" sort of thing.

What do you think?

i was so cross

SHE HAS NO CLUE your right but all you can do is raise this to be honest mum might want to raise this as well it may be mum may end up doing something wrong with the baby as she has no one really to correct her.

i would raise this with the child's social worker and if she wont listen raise it with the health visitor.

very worrying dropping a child off when you know nither the worker or the parent has a clue
