Breakfast ideas for savoury dd

Dd is 11 and won't eat anything vaguely sweet for breakfast (cereal, yogurts). She doesn't particularly like toast either. She's not up in time to cook breakfast and would live on salami and ritz biscuits given the choice but I don't like her eating too much processed meat.

I am trying to get her up earlier so she can boil an egg but are there any other alternatives that fit the bill and don't take too long to prepare, or can be prepared in advance?

She eats everything I put in front of her at other times, she's just not a morning person at all and that makes her a very picky breakfast eater.....

Beans on granary toast with microwaved scrambled egg is our fail safe weekend snack.
Toasted muffin with burger cheese and ham. Add a fried egg.
Marmite?
Cheesy croissants?
Pate?
Bagel with cream cheese (and smoked salmon offcuts)
Tinned ravioli with cheese on the top.

You can do loads of stuff in toaster bags. Nuke a sausage roll and cris it in the toaster.

(sorry just seen the toast thing - bread and butter or crumpets?)

Paninis
Scrambled or poached eggs
Pancakes
Eggy bread
Does she like tinned fish? Sardines, mackerel, tuna etc.
Potato cakes

Agree with savoury muffins as these can be made in batches and are easily defrosted/prepared.

My grouchy teen eats a breakfast flapjack on the way to the bus in emergency:

2 rashers of bacon, chopped up and fried,
2 beaten eggs
50g melted butter
150g grated cheese
150g porridge oats

Mix the ingredients and press into a greased 8 inch/20cm square tin
Bake for about 30-40 minutes at 180'C/Gas mark 4 until golden brown
Mark while warm
Cut once cool

If you are buying frozen croissants then the Picard variety are king imho! (If you have a Picard near you that is.)

Kippers! (Can't beat them for brain food)

Savoury pancakes (a good one is Nigella's sweetcorn fritters - the ones where you beat the egg whites first and then add to rest of mix are good - sounds complicated but is a matter of mins, I think they are in her 'How to Eat' book in the dc section)

What we used to call Pikelets oop North but I believe are also known as crumpets I believe. They are good with ham, cheese and/or eggs or with butter and Marmite.

Egg and bacon sandwich with HP

Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel [although a bit £££]

Potato hash browns

Home made baked beans

Breakfast Quesadillas

Kedgeree

Mushrooms, garlic and parsley on toast

Thank you all, some great ideas. I'm trying to keep her off processed meat (bacon, chorizo) except at weekends and she won't eat marmite she can't be my daughter, can she? But we can do croissants, egg muffins and I love the flapjack idea as well as kedgeree. Also just bought come frozen burritos and pupusas (stuffed tortillas - we live in Texas) which look good and contain eggs, cheese, beans and spinach and are organic to boot.

Regrettably we don't have Picard (used to live in France and love Picard) but we do have wholefoods which is fantastic.

my toast-indifferent dd will have 'pizza bread'

Toast, spread with tomato puree then a little bit of grated cheese on melted under the grill for a minute or two. (Sometimes I put a bit of salami under the cheese)

Marking place for that savory flapjack for DS

We're in CA so often quesadilla and breakfast burrito go down well - you can pre make burritos and freeze them, defrost overnight and fry off in the morning (wholefoods has a brilliant brand of flour tortilla that you need to cook for 60seconds before use but they last for ages)

Avocado on toast
Mushrooms on toast
Savoured porridge with lentils?

Staffordshire Oatcakes. A pancake batter of wholemeal flour, fine oatmeal, milk, water yeast. Can be kept in the fridge or the pancakes themselves keep wrapped in the fridge ready to be reheated. Lovely with bacon and cheese or just buttered. Very savoury

Cheese and veg muffins. There are loads of recipes online. They freeze well and are lovely (if slightly spongey) reheated in the microwave. Mine have grated cheese, carrot and courgette in. I made them for my toddler but she rejected them, so I eat them!

Potato pancakes, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and beans?

Hash browns or rostis with a fried or poached egg on top, with or without cheese.

Proper peanut butter not the sugary one.

Smoked salmon, cream cheese or rye or a bagel or similar.

Mini veggie eggy frittata type things (silicone muffin tins, chop a load of veg, dump in, pour beaten eggs, cheese and herbs over the top, bake until set then keep in fridge. Fine cold or nuked).

Cheese scones or muffins.

Avocado and scrambled egg (divine!).

I meant English muffins toasted. A bit like a home made mc D'd breakfast.
