DP was given a tub by a colleague. I could of course just eat it out the pot with a tablespoon but I would rather put it to good use in a delicious pud! Ideas?

I did make something else recently which called for it and I can't remember what it was. Brownies possibly?

Anyway, just eat it out of the tub Wink

Banoffee pie, caramel apple crumble, or fold it into whipped cream for a delicious chocolate sponge cake filling or an extremely decadent quick toffee mousse!

I make banana cupcakes and hollow a bit out and put a teaspoon inside and then mix some into the buttercream topping

I let the children spoon it onto digestives then put banana slices and squirty cream on top

It's delicious but for small children only Grin

Send it to me!!!

Or alternatively, Banoffee Pie sounds yummy.
Or for minimum effort, it is good as an ice cream topping or on pancakes.

In South America, they spread it on a big round wafer, put another wafer on top and eat it like a big sandwich. No idea where you can get such wafers in this country though.

Anyway, whatever you end up doing, enjoy it. It's yummy.

Banoffie pie

Sliced banana in a bowl, add double cream, warm up a little pot of dulce de leche in the microwave and pour it on. Lush Smile

It's the addition of pastry [vom]

I love pastry mind. Just not in banoffie pie - sorry it's just wrong.

Spread over crumpets and top with sliced strawberries. Or spread over crepes.

Cocktails. Then you can pretend to be staring in 'Guys and Dolls' and sing 'If I Were a Bell'?

Suburban my banoffee pie has a biscuit base, like cheesecake, not pastry!
