Will this combination work?

Was just in supermarket with 4 year old dd and she asked to try a tray of sweet potato and butternut squash, to which I said and told her to put 2 trays in the basket for tomorrow night. Just got home and they have to be eaten tonight, I already have a brisket of beef in a red wine cooking in the slow cooker, so will this sweet potato, butternut squash combination go with the brisket? According to the directions you roast them, they have black pepper and herbs on.

P.S I'm planning on roasting them as directed not adding them to the slower cooker.

Yep they will be fine roasted to go with the beef. I love roasted squash and sweet potato.
