I got a nutribullet for Christmas and I was very excited to try it out, which I did for the first time this morning.
But - it really wasn't what I was expecting. The taste was all right but the texture was gross - like a powdery, grainy texture. Is that just what blended juice tastes like? I was hoping for a completely smooth juice like a supermarket "no bits" orange juice. Really worried it's been a big fat waste of £80.
I've tried blending for longer and adding more water but that just makes it seem very diluted and not very tasty. I was trying apples, carrots and satsumas. The texture was like that kind of powdery apple feeling you sometimes get.
Does anyone have any good recipes or ingredients that might avoid the grainy/powdery thing? I'm hoping to make green veggie stuff really - we just don't have any in the house now. Or am I just being unrealistic?
Thank you!
