I've got a boiler chicken and am looking for some recipes or cooking instructions. I presume the bird is suited to long slow cooking but how?

Classic chicken soup. I know the nigella recipe is good but Internet will help. Or an Asian style chicken soup, base of ginger and chilli and garlic, finish with greens. Or Singaporean / Malaysian chicken rice - my recipe is from the guardian but again Google, it tastes of my childhood over there.

The beast is squished into my largest pot and simmering gently alongside some root veg, smells lovely. I plan on stripping the meat and using the stock in a couple of dishes.
