I slow cooked a gorgeous lamb stew last night & kids wouldn't touch it! Here's my highly boring plan for next week which I want to Autumn-ify with cosy & tastes meals that my kids will actually eat...fussy little blighters!

  • Salmon, veg & pots all steamed
  • Spag bol
  • Stew in slow cooker
  • My night off cooking - fish fingers & wedges or beans on toast
  • Quorn meatballs & pasta

Lunch is homemade soup soup soup!

Fish pie
Goulash
shepherds pie/cottage pie
sausages, mash and onion gravy or sausage casserole
lamb tagine (from the baby led weaning cook book) it's quite sweet as you add in apricots so my 2 love it!

that's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are loads more!

I love autumn cooking - proper home-made comfort foods - and it's so much easier to make batches and freeze.

I just google for a goulash recipe, the hairy bikers do a good one I think and there is also one in the baby led weaning cookbook I've used when making for the whole family. It's basically stewing beef, plenty of paprika, peppers, onions and tomatoes and is yummy!
