This may not be the right thread really but theres not much action on the party thread. Does anyone have any ideas what I could put individual jellies in. We cannot find little bowls and its too late to order on line. Looking for creative ideas and I know this thread is over flowing with creative people. Thanks. Since when did a 7 year olds party catering become so stressful!

I put them in plastic cups - either the Ikea ones we have around, or just disposables. You can get creative with the clear plastic cups and layer different colours

Oh what a good idea. So you do one colour, let it cool then add another colour (thats a stupid question isn't it, lets put it down to party planning stress)!

Yes, let it set reasonably firm, then add the next layer (not too hot). You can put jelly sweets between the layers if it fits your theme

Or cut oranges in half, scoop out the flesh (you can juice it to use as the "cold water" on jelly making instructions) then let the jelly set into the oranges and serve. If you are clever with a knife you can cut the halves into bitesize segments once fully set.

Glasses? Mugs? A very large bowl and serve them into smaller bowls? Saucepan?
