Hi all we are hosting a high tea theme for my nephews first birthday, care to share some ideas? So far I have ...
Mini quiche
Mini filo tarts (prob goats cheese and onion)
Finger sand
Scones sweet an savoury

Thinking about getting some cardboard cake stands and some pretty napkins..

Of course serving tea too!

I grew up pretty poor so these might not be to your taste, but out tea partys consist of
sausage rolls
cocktail sticks (cheese, hotdog and pineapple)
sandwiches
pizza
crisps
garlic bread
Used to have quiche til dp realised it was made of egg (he hates egg but happily ate it for 30 years lol)
Party rings/jammy dodgers/choc fingers
cocktail sausages
dips
breadsticks/carrots/celery/cucumers to dip
chicken strips (normal and spicy for me)
Thats all i can think of. I love our tea partys lol.

We did high tea for both our children's first birthdays. At one year the Party Is for the adults not the child as they have no idea

Raisin and cinnamon scones
Clotted cream
Cherry, strawberry and apricot jam
Darjing tea
Mini sandwiches with crusts off Ham and cheese, and roast pepper and pesto.
Champagne

We had 5 little ones newborn -2 years ( just family and close friends children), plus 12 adults. The kids ate the Same if they wanted but most just played
