I know how to do it on the hob and in the oven but fancy trying it in the slow cooker. How much liquid should I use? I usually use just over a pint (don't measure!). How long/what temp etc. Thanks Smile

All the online recipes say about two hours Hmm I was hoping for an all day one!

I've tried to develop a risotto recipe for the slow cooker with no luck; just rice mush with bits in it Confused . However, I have had some success with orzotto (using pearl barley instead of rice and less stock because of the length of cooking). Watching this thread with interest...

No personal experience, but friends make regularly the key is to ensure it isn't overcooked, normally a couple of hours is enough. Friend says would be awful if left all day!
