I have accidently bought 2 jars of cranberry sauce and only dd will eat 1 teaspoon with her christmas dinner.

What can I do with it?

do you think muffins would work?

We have it with bacon and brie in those small torpedo shaped crispy fresh baked rolls. Lovely!

Turkey stacks made in the slow cooker - turkey slices, topped with stuffing and cranberry sauce, then another slice of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Top with cheese and wrap in foil then slow cook for 8 hours on low

It goes well with oven-baked Brie and crostini or baguettes or even cheese on toast. Yes I do think muffins would work.

It will last quite a while in the fridge.

@ DSS I am craving rosti now.

The recipes on this Amrican site might be worth looking at here

Leftover Cranberry Sauce Muffins look nice and so do the cranberry oatmeal bars.

Ah Desperate I did not mean to reject your ideas; it's just the idea of cranberry sauce with cheese makes me want to puke. Wink

We love cheese biscuits with cream cheese topped with cranberry sauce. Also you could stir into gravy.

Sorry but I wrote that last night before you had stated the thought made you ill, then realised this morning my post had not been sent so hit the button.

Take the contents of the opened jar minus a teaspoon, heat in a small saucepan until melted and then use as a topping for pancakes. Take a piece of ribbon, tie it round the unopened jar and donate to a neighbour.
