Goji Berries

Has anyone tried these. I picked them up in Tesco but at £8.99 for 250g, I put them back. I've read about them having loads of vitc and being really good for you.

They taste pretty grim to be honest and originated in the Amazon I believe.They have the highest ORAC (anti-oxidant test)of any food....followed closely byt Acai berry and purple grape.

oki doki well for a while blueberries were the "super berry" these ones are even better antioxidents ...still damn expensive at the mo ..maybe get them in drink form ...cheaper

I'd stick with bluberries myself-at least they are a pleasure to eat...

oh blueberries yummmmmmmmmmmmy ! useless fact number 30008..blueberries were called starberries by the native americans as when pulled from the bush they have a star shape on them look at one !! ..also pomigranites are really good for you

Saw dried ones in the healthe food shop still £3.99 though!!!!!!

I've a half eaten packet in my cupboard ... and they've been there for about 4 months. Think that says it all!

They taste slightly like unsulphured dried apricots but somehow a little darker. Our local health food shops had samples on the counter. At that price, I wouldn't buy them for tastealone, but they are okay.

They were kinda gross. Not inedible exactly, but not tasty, and overly chewy. And they tasted like tea.
