Making chicken casserole for me, DH and DS. DD is veggie...can I use frozen quorn chicken pieces in a seperate pot or do I need to defrost them first?? Thanks

I can't think of anything worse than 'frozen quorn chicken pieces'.
Why don't you make her a nice veggie casserole alongside your meaty one? And make some nice yummy dumplings too, using veg suet for all of you.
BTW I am not a veggie
