tesco cream coleslaw..

does it have raw eggs, im pregnant so need to know...reading the ingredients, it says pasterised eggs but it dont say whether they are raw..

rang tesco helpline and person who would know away cos bank holiday weekend, and want to know before teatime so pleassseee anyone..help me

i should add that i have read shop made coleslaw is fine, but after reading the cheaper version of tesco coleslaw and its ingredients say 'powered egg' so am in doubt

I would've thought that if it's pasteurised then it's ok, in the same way that pasteurised goat's cheese is ok.

thanks for your reply, i googled after posting as this site was shut down and from what i read it was more concerned about listeria through not washing the cabbage/carrot etc so even if it didnt have raw eggs it could have listeria through the salad so they said not to eat it

then this morning i realised i have eaten coleslaw from the kebab shop about 4 times since being pregnant Blush


however now i knowingly know about the listeria thingy i wont be having coleslaw from there or i would feel bad if anything happened.
