I have a few veggies (no spinach) in the fridge - leeks/peas/mushrooms. a small bit of creme frachie, some mushroom pasta sauce! cheese, eggs and some apples off our tree!!

Heaven knows!

Er... little apple parcels? Cook apples, sweeten to taste, add cinnamon and raisins. Cut Filo into CD case sized squares (or whatever works with the sheet size to avoid waste. Prob need a few (3?) layers per parcel. Dollop apple mix in middle, gather up or fold over free pastry into a parcel and bake til crisp. Dust with icing sugar.

Similar set up but bigger parcels with cheese, mushrooms, leeks and a dollop of creme fraich? Fry stuff first, mix up, make u pand shove in the oven til crisp.

I am a week late for my period so i did a clearblue test and it came out positive. I know u can get false negatives but how about false positives?

Um, I suggest you start a new thread under Pregnancy or Conception rather than on a thread about Filo pastry.

But to answer your question, false negatives are extremely rare and are usually the result of a misread test which has an evaporation line on it or an early miscarriage (so not technically a false positive)

i know sorry but just wanted a reply asap. So basically your saying there is little chance the test could be wrong?

The pregnancy test is testing for something that is only present if you are pregnant, therefore false positives are etremely rare and due to mis read tests or early miscarriage (I had one of those - feint line, period arrived 3 days later). I do vaguely rememebr readong some complicated explanation of how you could get a false positive but it was, again, extremely unlikely.

Is that good or bad??

what so sorry for being personal, you had a miscarriage then? I am well over a week and i feel tired and stomach ache a bit like period pain to be hinest. But the line was pretty strong!

No problem I think my faint line appeared but the HCG levels were already decreasing anyway. I always put this down to an early miscarriage. Fell properly pregnant with DS2 the next month and got a v strong line right away.

ah good to hear. Well is it better to do another test? The only thing is i am only 22 and my boyfriend is 19 so we def can't keep it. I am gutted, i wish this was a happy occasion!

Bum

I dont think another test will help to be honest. It will still show positive. You need to make an appointment to see your GP and discuss the options with him/her as it's in your best interests to move quickly if a termination is on the cards.

PinkiePoo, click the lik and start a new thread under Pregnancy and give it a title like "pregnant and can't see how I can keep the baby" and I'm sure you'll get loads of good advice from others who have been in your position.

good luck.
