I rather enjoyed this gore fest. Di Caprio and Waltz were absolutely riveting. Foxx, appropriately grew into his role, gaining strength and significance. Much fun to be had spotting anachronisms. Great soundtrack.

Was appalled that this MA15 rated film (Au) allowed a family with small children (9, 7, 6-ish) to see a completely unsuitable film. Needless to say the children became bored, talked constantly and needed frequent trips to the lavatory in this 165-minute epic of wall-to-wall violence and some adult jokes.

No smut though.

I can't wait to see this.

Ikwym about ratings for films. Having been caught a number of times I'm going to ignore the ratings in future and make my own assessments.

That's interesting about the rating. One can only hope that parents read reviews as well as ratings. I figure the adult jokes go over their heads, but I couldn't watch some of the violence myself.

Loved it. Quentin Tarantino at his finest in my opinion. The scene with the Ku Klux Klan-esque gang in badly cut pillow cases was very funny. I thought Di Caprio, Waltz and Foxx were excellent. Foxx was particularly excellent when semi naked.

I am absolutely staggered that anyone could possibly think ANY Tarantino film could be appropriate viewing for small children though - what absolute idiots.

I thought it was brilliant, QT so incredibly talented and amazing performances from all. Especially Christoph Waltz. I cried when he said goodbye to him.

A really fab movie, loved it from beginning to end.
