Fasting / 5:2 diet

5:2 on a 2 week active holiday WWYD

We're off on an active holiday, watersports, biking, that kind of thing. What should I do about my fasting days? I guess options are:

a) do my 2 per week even though the food is included so will be not eating food I've paid for
b) have 2 weeks off 5:2 - I've mainly been doing it to be OK for holiday clothes
c) do my best on 2 days per week, eat significantly less but not be obsessive over it being 500 cals

what do you think?

B! You're on holiday! I assume you'll be exercising more than usual so you'll need slightly more than usual so as long as you don't go crazy with desserts you'll be fine.

I suggest you forget FDs for the holiday and aim to maintain healthily.
Try to do daily 16:8 or 14:10, i.e. eat only within an 8 or 10 hour window
If you cut out snacks, avoid crap and keep within the safe alcohol limits (1-2 drinks on 5 days per week) you should stay around TDEE for an active holiday.

Ooh I'm so pleased that's the responses Smile I'm aiming to keep busy to justify any additional calories
