Yes indeed - feeling 'hungry' (if that's really what it is, which I doubt) is definitely NOT going to kill you.

Probably just like you, I used to feel that if I didn't eat something - anything - the moment was 'hungry' that I would die.

That idea is in fact so far from the truth...I feel more alive now than I have since I was a kid. (And I'm in my 60s now , much to my amazement.)

Turns out, a spot of hunger actually isn't the end of the world. :)

I agree, I used to really panic about feeling hungry. But now I know I'll be OK.
Also I've been using my fintness pal on NFD and I'm really shocked at how many calories 'treats' have. 4 digestive biscuits? Will swerve next time.

Knowing you can cope with being hungry is a revelation isn't it?

And that's the thing with other diets, isn't it?

Feeling hungry makes you a bit panicking and so aware of everything you're missing out on. With 5:2 you don't feel like that.
