Implant to Combined pill?

I'm on my second implant, had it put in July, the first one was great, eventually it settled down in to a pattern so I thought the second one will just follow that pattern, but no, I was SO wrong, I bled for about 3 weeks, stopped for 2 days and now its come back!!
So first question will my second one take ages to settle down?
Also I'm now thinking of getting it out and going to the combined pill but I'm worried I'll have to go through this on the pill too. Any advice??
