Any ideas? I'm foxed. I have always had very heavy and painful periods and would happily take something which suppresses them, but depo provera made me balloon and I've enough to do shifting the baby weight. What's my best option?

Which method was the depro?? I have tried all birth planning available :s and must say that the implant was extremely good, although after a year I found myself feeling depressed. Turns out it messed with my hormones. The 3 monthly injection was good too except I did out on a lot of weight. The next one I would recommend is the pill if you can remember to take it, no weight gain or messed up emotions. The patch is brilliant, I will be using this as soon as I am finished breastfeeding. Hope that helps a little :s

Mirena would really help with the periods.

I would definetly suggest the implant then, just make sure your not feeling down prior to it being put in and keep an eye on your mood. I think I had a bad time cause I was diagnosed with slight depression a few years ago and refused treatment.
