I have a lovely month old DD who is the result of microgynon (sp?) failure, although I wouldn't change the situation for the world, OH & I want to make sure we're protected as we don't want more children in the next two years. We've spoken about having another baby as we'd like our DD to have a sibling close in age but not trying for at least 2-3 years depending on our circumstances. I have family history of fertility problems, both sisters are unable to have children, this was found in their twenties & are now in their mid to late thirties & my mum struggled to conceive me, no problems with my sisters when she was quite young, but had me in her mid thirties. For this reason I don't want to leave it too late before trying for another baby but obviously right now is also not practical, I am breastfeeding at the moment & plan on doing so exclusively until DD is at least 3-4 months but hopefully longer & I don't trust the pill after it led to this although very happy, unplanned situation. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they think would be the best method? Your pros & cons on each too would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
