Hi I have 4 kids, 10,5,3,2. My period was due over a week ago, I have done 4 tests, 2 tesco ones, 2 boots ones. All have come up negative, my periods are a nightmare!!! Heavy, painful, and they make me unbelievably tired. I have horrific hormones the week before, when I'm on then when I'm off, I am a woman possessed for 3 weeks of the month! But nothing I am still calm as I would normally be, I've got slight backache, but that's it. I have never ever missed a period without being pregnant and all my boys test came up within the week of me missing it. Could I be pregnant with a false neg? Please help
Have you been ill, stressed or taken any new medication in the last month? I'm normally fairly regular but my period was two weeks later after a nasty flu and chest infection - I'm not sure if it was the illness or the antibiotics that did it though. How old are you? I've seen a few women on here say that they'd been regular all of their lives but started randomly missing the occasional period in their late 30s/early 40s.

I'm only 29, I've been fine. I'm on no medication.

Any ideas??? Starting to get worried
I was 8 days late last month for no reason at all and I've never been late before. Weirdly this month has started and only been 21 days since my last period <confused>

I finally came on 2 weeks late, and boy do I know it. I'm in agony
Well that's a relief. As QueenStromba has found, illness can sometimes delay ovulation, which means a later period. Positive stress (a wedding, a new job, or a holiday) can have the same effect.
Your periods do sound like a nightmare though. What does the doctor say? Have you ever used hormonal contraception? Mirena or something might work for you..

Sorry for the late reply, I don't like the idea of the coil, or the implant. I'm kinda scared to have the injection. I was on the pill between kids but it never changed anything. It's not just the hormones but the pain as well, the nausea, backache, hips seizing, and the aching like I have flu. I'm only 29 but I want it all taken out as soon as really.
