I regret the way I voted.

After a long day reading Facebook (didn't announce on there that I'd voted out), colleagues talking and family (who do know how I voted) complaining, I really wish I'd voted to remain.

I read a few bullet point articles and felt swayed by the amount of money were were paying to the EU. But I feel as though I'd partly not researched enough and also believed the hype.

Seeing the pound falling and friends worried for their jobs etc, I feel as though I've done something really bad. In fact, I'm sure I have.

Does anyone else regret the way they voted, whichever way that was?

Listening to rhetoric on FB Is as bad as not researching in the first place. No I don't think a load of leave voters are thick enough to knee jerk into regretting their vote.

No. I listened to the experts, read a lot of literature and weighed up my thoughts before making such an enormous decision.

I voted remain and have a clear conscience. I will be firing two British citizens on Monday morning, as we wind down eu contracts.

No I did my research and don't regret my vote thanks. I'm glad you feel guilty, you've done a stupid thing (vote for something that promised huge repercussions without looking into it properly - not voting to leave).

Also, have you read any threads on here today?? You're exactly the kind of voter that people are frustrated at.

What's done is done. You can't alter it now. No one in RL will chase you with a pitch fork.

Either stick to your guns and have the courage of your convictions or stay quiet about how you voted, simple!

I voted remain and I would do that again a million times over. I know everyone is entitled to their vote and opinion in a democratic society etc etc but I feel quite angry at what the leave voters have done to mine and my family's future.

I think so many people thought that there was no chance we'd leave, that they felt safe in voting out.

I don't think people realise how much the EU actually does.

Unfortunately, this is massive and very, very real.

I have no problem at all with immigration and can't stand Farage. I thought it would be better for our economy. How wrong I now know I was.

The 2 people in our dept that voted leave (out of 35) have made me cringe with their ignorance.

I don't think it's matters now and the results are in. I voted in the last minute with the hope of reform. I am dispointed but I have hope that things will come good as that's all we can do. I am frustrated the way the campaign was led by both parties and the scare mongering involved . It was a massive decision for our country and I felt unease with a simple black and white choice which has resulted in a very close result leaving the country devided.

This is the reason why we shouldn't have had a referendum. I think there were a lot of people who voted without really knowing the implications and who will live to regret that vote. I was talking to someone earlier who couldn't make up their mind until they were at the polling station and voted out at the last minute because they felt like a change. This is not the way to decide how to vote in a matter of such consequence.

I imagine this has been a bitter lesson to those who vote in protest or really looking at the issues at stake. Or think their vote doesn't count.
I hope people do become more politically conscious and behave differently in future elections.

And I hope the consequences of this result are as the leavers hoped. But considering most current issues in the UK actually seem to stem from the government, I'm not confident at all.
