HI All

Just wondered if you could help. I'm after a veg box in West Yorkshire. I'd rather choose someone local to keep the food miles down. I found this company www.avidorganics.co.uk and just wondered if anyone had any experience of them?

don't know about avid but I think Riverford have farm in Yorkshire now. they are ace

There is a place in Addingham which does boxes, if you are near that way, cannot remember name though . We use Booths as compromise, and don't but the air freighted stuff

I use Organic Pantry, who deliver all over quite cheaply. I have been very happy with them.

If you're wanting organic and otherwise high quality produce I would definitely recommend www.farmison.com, they've got a great selection of veg boxes and cheese, meat etc. and it's Yorkshire based as far as I'm aware.

Farmaround is a Yorkshire company. I used to use them when I lived in England and would certainly recommend them.

They are organic and I liked doing business with them. Read their blurb, they have good principles and look after rescue sheep (and make clothes from their wool)

OP - I've been reading the company you use as Avoid Organics! What an unfortunate name for someone to give a company. Oops I see this is an old thread.
