Character reference maybe?

Yes it means a character reference, friend of the family/professional person or whatever.

I've never understood the point of it myself, as if anyone's going to pick anyone who'll say anything negative. I'd rather have 2 professional references any day.

Sorry, whinge over!

Yes character reference - as an example I would use my previous boss who I'm friends with or my manager for the project I volunteered at. You could ask your children's teacher or a friend who's a solicitor/police officer.

It means you need to put down someone who has worked/managed you in the present/past and you also need to list someone who can vouch for you in a personal capacity. I've done a few of these personal references as I was a solicitor, and it is really just a matter of getting someone "respectable" to say they know you (and have done for x years) and you don't shoplift/smell/fall behind on rent etc depending on what the reference is for

Thanks

It is requesting 2 professional and 1 personal for some reason, but then again it is also asking for next of kin and the health questionaire is really something.

Have i ever been a patient in a hospital?
Er haven't most people?

Have i been immunised against Measels, polio etc and when?
