This is becoming ridiculous. I changed my working hours so me and a colleague now job share.
I've been with the company for 10 years now on a weekend contract that had lots of overtime.
I've gone from 10 hours a week to 29.
This started last September. I was emailed a draft copy of the new contract 5 months ago.
There were a few mistakes so it went back to the hr dept.
I emailed the hr manager 2 weeks ago to ask when I will see my new contract. I've not even had a response.
Would I he unreasonable to email my CEO and ask him to give them a nudge?
My own manager is useless and his manager just rolls her eyes when I mention it as in "You know what Hr are like".
Do I have any protection if I get made redundant?

Do you have timesheets and payslips which show that you regularly get paid for 29 hours a week? If you're made redundant your redundancy pay will be based on what you are earning at the time you are made redundant. If your pay varies each week, the average of the last 12 weeks are used to calculate redundancy pay.

After this length of time you I think it's reasonable to escalate it to the CEO. However, just because you don't have a written contract doesn't mean you aren't protected - although it's obviously much better to have it in black and white and without a written contract it can be more difficult to prove what you believe were the terms you were offered if there's a disput.
