Iv worked for my employer for two years, almost 3 and iv been off for a few weeks due to spd. Iv been told by hmrc and its in my contract that I'm entitled to 28 weeks statutory sick pay. The problem is, I'm not receiving it!! Iv had payments of £30, £21, £47... And the most recent £9!! My employer has basically said 'i don't know what you expect me to do about it' head office has said they don't pay it me and to take it up with benefits office. Hmrc have said yes my employer does pay it and it's down to them to sort it. It's a never ending circle! The last person I spoke to said that it sounds like they are paying me tax rebates and not the money they HAVE to pay me.

I recieved one full ssp payment but funnily enough it was the week I complained about my payments.

Anyone has similar/the same? What way can I go about it? Will I get the money I'm owed?

Yes it is paid by your employer. It's a tiny amount if money , but nevertheless it's called Statutory because they have to pay it.
The Gov.uk website is really clear and gives good advice in this.
Good luck

Have a look at this the CAB website has detailed instructions on how to claim ssp yourself if your employer isn't paying it.
