Clinical Coder - what's the pass rate

Hi, I am new here. I saw there was a thread about this career over a year ago but decided to open a new one. My question is "Are the exams difficult to qualify as a clinical coder?" I have not been working for 9 years and my job before was in IT. My experience is in finance and my degree is Maths/Computer Science, and so I am clearly worried that re-training to become a clinical coder will be very difficult without any form of medical/science background and experience. Any thoughts please?
