It does sound very stressful. Your GP should be able to help with the short-term symptoms. Longer term, have you considered asking to go part-time? Or looking for another job, one which aligns with the profession you trained for?
Roshbegosh I haven't spoken to occupational health as I'm scared to. The last time I did -about another matter- they essentially didn't believe what I was saying which is strange for someone is assessing you from a phone conversation....however my own GP had seen me in person and was aware of my medical issue.
Flowery GP-I've booked an appointment to have tests run about chest pain and headaches not sure what else to say to them. I haven't mentioned the extent of the stress is having on me as I'm not sure what the implications are.thats stressing me out too.
My line manager doesn't want to get involved. i haven't told her of my health issues but is aware of training issues. She is pushing all of this training issue onto me, hr are saying it is line mangers problem. However it was hr who forced this role onto me. As line manager can see that HR aren't concerned about my issue she is not bothered at all.So here I am dealing with stress of ongoing training issues, stress of being given a job not my profession and demands and deadlines of new role amongst other things to the point I only sleep 4 hours a day.
I really stressed in a job which I feel I don't have skills in. It's opposite of my actual profession. I 've been in it for numerous monthsand there has been lack of training. I was forced into this job whilst on maternity leave.
I'm so stressed I can't cope anymore and my health is suffering. I'm frequently getting chest pains, and blinding headaches. Im scared something is going to happen to my health all because of this job. i never had this before.I don't know what to do. It's been getting worse. HR are absolutely horrible and I feel I can't talk to them about this situation as they were harassing me whilst on maternity leave.
