I did not work for 26 weeks of my test period... more like 20. Will I still be entitled to something?

I don't think it can, but check out this website

It's brilliant for answering any maternity related questions.

Perhaps I have been offered Incapacity Benefit instead. I got a letter saying I was not entitled to MA and then another letter telling me I was being paid a lump sum (back-dated) based on £57.?? per week. That appears to be the amount that IB is. Am I right in thinking it is paid for an 8 week period so the lump sum is it? (as I have had my baby)

Not that I am complaining. Any extra money is very gratefully recieved and put to good use.
