Hi

I've applied for an internal position of Foundation Stage Co-ordinator. I think the job has someone else's name written all over it. She isn't any more qualified or experienced than me, the boss just likes her more. I feel like I really need to make a good impression to get the head to change his mind. Interviews are next week. I would rally appreciate any advice, perticularly relating to the roles and responsibilites of a co-ordinator in terms of management.

TIA

Aniles, check out the TES website - there's a staffroom on there where you can ask for help and advice. I've been out of teaching for 3 years so don't feel able to help personally because as we all know, things change so fast!

HTH

Good luck

think about what you would hope to achieve and how you would do it. consider resouring, staff, managing change, your wider role on smt. hope that helps a bit!
