an excellent teach yourself HTML website - if you are into that kind of thing!!!!

this is a really good baseline test for identifying your borderline level 3-4s in english and focusing in on their exact needs - good for years 5 and middle to lower year 6s

a scout webiste but brilliant resources for teaching Ordnance Survey symbols

ICTeachers - links to all subjects but more primary oriented i think...

leicester education authorities numeracy pahe - excellent resources and ideas for KS1 and KS2 with BRILLIANT parent help sheets to send home with homework

north tyneside LEA page - not brilliant but has a few bits and bobs and ideas

create your own crossword puzzle - good as extra activities to have to hand or to test knowledge in a more fun way - this has the potential for maths cross words too

ready made medium term plans for ks1 and 2 literacy to adapt to suit your classes

teachernet with links to other useful sites

primary website - an absolute must for all primary teachers - briliant ideas and loads of online interactive resources - especially for maths if i remember rightly - have a brwose around - has things like online protractors too and other such useful tools

some more primary related worksheets on all subjects and variety of topics

some more teaching ideas

woodlands junior school - good resources - all primary related - ok for homework help too

ready made teacher led assemblies

literacy standards site - long term plans, publications etc

year six literacy planning exemplification, bosster session etc publications

materials to supprt text level objectives for year 6 literacy

bbc schools webiste - for all keys stages - good supporting materials - links to revisewise - excellent for ks2 sats and ks3 revision etc

my most favourite bitof bbc site - interactive stuff to teach rivers and coasts at ks2 - brilliant!!

that should keep you going for a bit

Thnakyou very much for those. All the website resources I had were from 4 years ago and haven't been touched since. These will be very useful if I ever take the plunge and go back into the classroom.
