went to parents eening for my 14 yo dd.

it was the best parents evening i ever had. i always go with doom and gloom looming ahead, and usually i am right.

but this evening was praise praise praise, congratulations all round not a bad comment - i have never experienced anything like it ever ever ever - and therefore wanted to share how wonderfully excellent my dd is and how terribly terribly proud of her i am that she has managed to turn around mediocre and star socialite to rather good actually and selective socialite.

i want to send a thank youinto school - but they'll think i'm a knob wont they!?

I did last year after dd1 kept being ill , no idea what was wrong and school was really good keeping updated/letting her work what she was able going out of their way to kepp her involved as they knew she was upset at not being able to work .
