sitting here trying to think back! if i had a word eg "fun",would the adjective be "funny"?

completely forgotten about adjectives,verbs and nouns...!
would the adjective of "creaky" be creak?...!
I'm flummoxed!

creaky is the adjective, creak is the verb.

the creaky (adj) door gave a creak (noun) as it creaked (verb) open...

no, creaky is an adjective, filthy is an adjective, shiny is an adjective...
