Hi All

Trust being a dad does not constitute a violation of Mumsnet T&C's :-)
Our DD's 2 and DS coming soon. Looking for co-ed preps and the only one around is Prospect House on Putney Hill. The alternative is Bishop Gilpin for a few years. Will be great to get views on both these schools.

Thanks a lot for your time

BG highly desirable and has great reputation and all for free! If your DCs can actually get a place grab it with both hands.

I am not sure you can really compare the state schools with the preps. My children are in different preps in Wimbledon and they have regular defectors from the very good state schools including Bishop Gilpin . The prep schools offer a different education from the states, only you can decide which is better for your child.
We considered moving from prep to state and were put off because of those moving in the other direction.
Any reason for co-ed ?your options are much wider if you go single sex.
