School won't take childcare vouchers

Has anyone ever come across a school which doesn't take cc vouchers? Mine won't and that seems a bit strange to me! The reason is 'we just don't accept them'!

and its up to the school I guess

they probably don't want the hassle. It's up to them.

Do you mean for an after school club?

Our school didn't take vouchers until enough parents make a stink. Can you find an example of a similar school and show your school how they handle it, get the two admin departments talking to each other.

Our prep school take them for payment of school fees and wrap around care although we haven't used them ourselves.

Ours (private school) only accepts them for holiday club. The school had to go through the registration process with our childcare voucher provider so that we could pay using the vouchers. They were happy to dothat, which was good news for us, as its a substantial saving and we have a glut of them as we can no longer pay our nanny with them.
