Does anyone know if you'd have to move the children from the school or if you could keep them there and make the journey instead?
Thinking way ahead but we will be in mid Sussex however will probably buy in west Sussex in a few years and wondering if the children would have to change schools or not
Thanks smile

You can move to wherever you want - as long as you're happy with the commute, and not having school friends living nearby.

You don't have to change schools at all and many people choose not to (or not to immediately) because it can be difficult to find a new school that is both good and has vacancies in more than one year group for more than one child.
There is certainly no rule that means you have to leave a school no matter how far away you move.
