So is that 8 and separate science is one science (or three separate sciences)?

If the latter that sounds pretty good.

French
Geog
History

Excellent choice, maths English and science are there plus two humanities, a language and a more practical 'fun' subject. Good luck to her!

Actually IMO music is far more academic than geographyWink

Her father did music GCSE and A level and really encouraged her into music however she did the piano and hated it she finds reading the notes so difficult as she finds they all look so similar. Therefore music is out of the question. She also really likes the idea of Economics A level and has been told by geography and economics teachers that the overlap really helps.

Ours did music because they play quite a lot and because it was that or RE or drama or PE (and they could have done another language but not keen on those). One did like RE actually or RS or whatever it's called but I think he made the right choice with music instead. They both have music scholarships to the school so music is a good one for them to do. I think it's the only subject they've been told they might get A* but we shall wait to see....

Yes my daughter read geography at university and also did economics (I think to AS). They went well together.
