I have sold lots of clothing on eBay in recent years and I've never experienced any problems. However I have recieved a request from a seller for a refund on a dress as it doesn't fit her. The dress is labelled as a size medium which I stated in the listing should fit sizes 10/12 (I am a 12 and it fits me but would be fine on a smaller frame as it is loose). The buyer has come back saying that there is no way that it is a 10/12 as she is a small 12 and can't even get it on, in her opinion it's more like an 8 - I've never been fortunate enough to buy an 8 in my life! She has requested to send it back for a refund although my listing says that refunds not accepted (tbh only says this as I didn't change the default setting when listing). I'm totally in 2 minds as to what to do here as I think I would be a good ebayer if I took it back out of goodwill but on the otherhand I haven't intentionally misled the buyer as no measurements where listed and she didn't request them, I stated clearly that the label says medium and that top should fit 10/12. Think it may come down to difference in experience of what a 12 is or we may just be very different body shapes. I also really need all the money I can get just now as current sales are supplementing my meagre maternity pay but then really don't want any bad feedback! WDYT? Any suggestions?
