Is there anything I can do about my listing on a DS game I'm about to sell? I have listed it as being in perfect brand new condition, which it is, I bought it as part of a bundle and thought I'd make a bit of money back on it as I didn't really want it. It has never been played.

But now I'm wondering if I should have put in the listing that it didn't have any cellophane wrapping on it when I bought it, in case the buyer is expecting it to have some, and I've just noticed a couple of tiny dents in the back of the box. Neither of these things have any bearing on the fact that it is a brand new game, but since the FB changes, people are getting nasty for no reason. I really don't want to get a negative because of this.

I don't think you can edit anything within 12 hours of the auction ending. once it has bids I think you can only add info.

do you have bidders on it?

I can't see anywhere that lets you add info either though.

Yes, it has one bid and four watchers.

can you amend the listing?

or withdraw it from sale, & relist it in a couple of weeks

depends if you have any bidders, i think

You cant change within 12 hours of it ending or if there are any bids...otherwise you could bid on a Ford Focus, and then the seller could change it to Ford Escort..IYSWIM?

I've just tried the 'end item immediately' thing and it won't let me because it has a bid and less than 12 hours left. I think I'll just have to hope that the buyer isn't one of the many piss-takers that seem to frequent eBay nowadays.

Thanks for your help anyway.

Can you swap the box for another newer looking box? Take insert out and put in another

let it go and email the buyer immediatley explaining everything, (I think) if they aren't happy you can both mutually withdraw

soremummy, thank you! I just checked and the other game I have (which I'm not selling) has a much tidier case, and I don't care if mine has dents in it. Swapped now. Why on earth didn't I think of that? [daft moo me emoticon]
