Do you think it's OK to list bras on Ebay?

Used ones that is. I have two really lovely ones from Bravissimo but I have only worn them a few times as they are not really the right size.

I wouldn't buy used underwear but some people might.

No I probably wouldn't buy used either which is what made me reconsider listing it. Thanks for your comment.

You could do a search on ebay for sold bras and see if they sell.

I bought a bundle of used/new bras after having ds and my bra size increased for the first time since I was at school. I was very happy with them.

Charity shops also sell bras - it's not like they're pants!

Thanks for the link. I did have a look the other day but all the Bravissimo seemed to be new with tags. Might give it a try though although won't be listing matching items!

Wouldn't buy pants but did buy some nursing bras, figured i'd be wearing breastpads in them anyway.

Big bras will sell whether new or used as they are sooooo expensive in the first place - try them on a 5p listing day then its cost you pennies ....

Yes that's true. Partly why I want to sell them as need to fund some that actually fit me.

If ebay spot the listing they will cancel it. They do not permit selling of used underwear and swimwear. Used nappies come under this and I had a listing pulled before I realised.

Oh I didn't know that, thanks for the tip.

when i was young and impressionable, i was told by a very reliable source, (neighbours babysitter) that people who do black magic against you, to make you ill etc, need some thing persona l of yours. such as old underwear, hair etc. so i should never ever throw old underwear out in the bin, but should always cut it up first.

cue forwards a few years and some, well, lots of tv watching of pragrammes with black magic pratctitioners. i still cut up my pants before binning them. used to cut up my old bras, especially the nursing ones, chopped them up with relish, but since then, i dont have the heart to cut up my nice bras, so have been collectinig them in a box under my bed.

this same lady also told me that witches could be spotted by the fact that there feet point backwards, not forwards.
and if you walk under trees or bushes in the dark with your hair open something would come and 'get you'. something otherworldly.
and i beleived her. for years i would tie my hair back before going out in the evenings.

Do you also mash up egg shells in case witches use them for boats?

lol, i live in surrey now, so not very exciting i'm afraid.

nope, i didnt know abou tthe eggshells thing. but perhaps my dd has heard something about this and not told me? she has a strange obsession with mashing up eggshells.

I think it was my Nan who told me that but I'm not sure now - it was about 30 years ago. Just seems to make a horrible mess. I do find myself saluting single magpies though - a former flatmate taught me that and it's stuck.

my son likes doing it as well. And we eat A LOT of eggs in this house. What a strange turn this thread has taken!
