I ordered 2 DVD's from an ebay store about 3 weeks ago . They didn't combine postage or anything . One arrived I am still waiting for the other, today after 4 emails and no response I opened a dispute my money has been refunded but there was no apology or any explanation from seller. I'm really annoyed because it was a gift for my Dad .
But I dont know if I should leave bad feedback or neutral .

If you have any suggestions what I should put if I do leave feedback that would be great too.

I posted this earliar well I have just logged into ebay again and he has put an alert for unpaid item on me ! He has added that I havent paid him when he has just refunded me the money into my paypal .What should I do ?> I have responded and basically said I'm not sure whats going on but after checking his feedback someone has wrote that they are nasty and rude sellers and not to deal with them

Ok I am going to cry now I have just recieved an unpaid item strike and this message from the seller

Because a refunded item is also an unpaid for item. And any minute now you're going to get an unpaid item dispute. Just because you've had a refund doesn't negate my right to get the fees back.

i dont think this is your fault if they refunded without you asking for it they should cough up. if you had asked for a refund they should have negotiated what they were refunding 9i.e wouldnt include postage/fees etc)

  1. he can claim the fees back without marking you as a non payer (you mutally agree not to complete the transaction)
  2. you are not a non-payer because you have paid but he has not sent sent the goods and the dispute found in your favour, hence the refund.

Did you open a Paypal dispute to claim your money back? Is that how it was refunded?

Yes i have just sent the proof to ebay .
It's his fault not mine he hasn't even sent it out as it wasn't in stock

Hang on!
So the twat charged you for/let you pay for something he didn't even have in stock so had no intention of/no chance of sending it, but took your money anyway, then when you ask where it is he refunds you as he knows he has done wrong/stolen from you, then says the item is technically unpaid for so you get an unpaid item strike as a result?!

So he is a thief and you get an unpaid strike?

Correct me if I am wrong here?

Well, you're undoubtedly in the right. No idea what Ebay will do though.

I have seen follow ups to -ve feedback/non payer along the lines of "Paypal dispute for non delivery of item found in my favour"

Yes I am really upset silly I know .
But I was just about to go and leave him good feedback something along the lines of

"item was out of stock but seller refunded promptly "

and now he is been a cocky twat to me

Why would you not leave a very negative feedback though??
That's why sometimes you get dishonest sellers with 99.99% positive ratings. Or are you a seller or constant buyer and are worried you'll get negative feedbacks as a revenge?

I'd leave -ive feedback & say something along the lines of, 'I paid, he refunded then left unpaid strike - beware'. Not fair on you at all so hope ebay sort it out. Some people are just gits.

TBH, there's little point leaving -ve feedback as he sells such a lot (searched on the name you included) Any -ves just sink into oblivion - IIRC, he's had 8 in the last month but only 1 or 2 show up in the last 200 feedback comments left.

I think this may do the trick
pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/appeal-upi.html

looks like you can just forward the message bits from him and the paypal transaction number
