Item not received, no refund dispute closed

Do I need to try and get my money back from paypal or do ebay sort that out for you. If I do, how??

did 'you' open the dispute?
and did you close it?

have you escalated to a claim?

I opened it and reported seller to Trust and Safety team when they didn't refund which closed it.

you can probably still raise a claim through paypal if that's how you paid. You need to initiate that through your paypal account.

Sorry to but in I have had this twice its really annoying isn't it they don't even suspend the user from ebay or anything! I have never got my money back from paypal as they will only refund if money gets paid into that particular paypal account if the user sets up another or stops taking paypal you are stuck! The only way round it is in future set up a credit card on your paypal address as they will cover you and refund and pursue the seller from their end!
