Bought a lovely pair of sandals. Not cheap but just what I wanted and an OK price. Arrived fine.

Sadly wrong size. Clearly advertised as a 5 and a 6 is sent.

Asked for refund. " no problem" sent to my mothers address as I'm there at the moment. all seems OK and genuine BUT I rather suspect i'm supposed to send them, signed for to HIM at HIS address ...

And would you send back for a refund without starting a paypal chargeback or is that foolish?

Thanks

Since they aren't as described legally he had to pay the cost of the return

So shouyld I go through the paypal process rather than just sending them back ( and presumably not to his mothers?)

You must send them back to his ebay address unless you have started a formal refund procedure and the address he gave you is included in the correspondence under that ongoing case.
Presumably he sent you the money plus postage back already?
If not, open a case asap and get the ball rolling.
Good luck OP.

open a case and only send back as eBay instruct you to. They may give a prepaid label.
