What is it, how big is it, and what does it weigh?

Royal Mail website has a price finding option which is pretty good but lljkk is right...I can give you some price guides for clothing if that is what you are selling.

Just having a clear out so its all shapes and sizes. Clothes, boxed games and some train sets so quite bulky.
Does it go on weight or size?

Use hermes for bulkier items. There are lots of drop off points now - eg most co-op stores. RM for small light items and to send quickly. 2nd class small parcel goes up to 2kg at the moment and is bigger size too so check the measurements & weight on RM website to get a price. It goes by weight and size now.
