How long to wait for invoice

I bought two items off the same seller yesterday. They didn't say anything in the listing about combining postage but from experience it's normally worth asking (judging from the postage price I think they are probably using hermes or similar and the price will be the same to post two but I know it's their decision whether to combine or not).

If they say no that's fine but how long should I wait for them to let me know me before I go ahead and pay anyway?
